Movin' up to 5th in the Western Division

With just eight games left in the regular season, the Mighty Ducks look like a playoff team by manhandling the Vancouver Canucks yesterday at the Pond, 6-2.

Teemu Selanne and Samuel Pahlsson each had two goals in the game and helped move the Ducks into fifth place (90 points) in the Western Conference, just four points behind Nashville in fourth.

As for the "followers", Colorado (88 points, 6th), Vancouver (87, 7th) and Edmonton (86, 8th). "On the bubble" teams include: San Jose (83, 9th) and Los Angeles (83, 10th).
